The latest update to the Expansion Pack tier of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service has given subscribers access to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, a Game Boy Advance game that was originally released in 2006. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have a couple of different tiers to choose from. The basic tier gets them access to games from old-school consoles like the NES, SNES, and the original Game Boy, whereas the Expansion Pack tier includes all that in addition to titles from other platforms.
Those that decide to sign up for the Switch Online Expansion Pack tier can also play a selection of games from the Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo 64. New games are added to Switch Online on a regular basis, and so Expansion Pack subscribers always have something fresh to check out.

The next Nintendo Switch Online addition should pave the way for other games to make their debut on the service.
The latest addition to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack tier is the 2006 Game Boy Advance game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a roguelike spin-off of the beloved Pokemon franchise, with players taking on the role of a Pokemon instead of a Pokemon Trainer. Even though Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team earned mixed reviews at the time of its release, it has developed a dedicated fanbase and was followed by multiple sequels and a remake that was released on the Nintendo Switch. While some Pokemon fans may prefer to play the remake instead, the original is still a meaty adventure worth checking out.

Other GBA games include the Generation 3 Pokemon games Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, as well as Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire, but there's no guarantee that they will ever be added to the lineup.
